Finally, a test preparation course for students who struggle with standardized tests! Welcome to the new ADHD Test Preparation course at Jarrell Education, an interactive, engaging learning experience geared toward students with good grades yet low SAT or ACT scores. The discrepancy between high academic performance in school but low scores on standardized tests is common among many students but has yet to be addressed by today’s educators.
Mr. Giordano is one of our newest instructors, and he brings an interactive, dynamic style that helps students to improve these test scores that are so vital to college admissions. With over ten years of experience teaching special education as well as all levels of high school Math and English, Mr. Giordano breaks down these difficult tests into digestible bite, and shows students how to methodically attack the test and to increase their scores. He uses constant movement and activity to keep the students focused, and his high energy level keeps the students entertained as they learn. The students will acquire techniques of how to address test items in order of difficulty and understanding, and they will also learn how to effectively use their extra time wisely.
All students can successfully increase their SAT or ACT scores, regardless of learning difficulties or past low scores.
