James Jarrell, founder of Jarrell Education has taught in the New Jersey public and private school system for 18 years and continues to teach in the actual classroom every day. Each year, his former AP Calculus and AP Physics students, who attend such prestigious institutions as MIT, Steven’s Institute of Technology, Brown, Princeton, Duke, and more, reach out to him for tutoring when they return home from college, reiterating “You explain complex topics in a simplified way that makes it easy to understand.” Positive feedback from his students, a passion for teaching, and seeing the need for highly qualified teachers, fueled the desire in Mr. Jarrell to open Jarrell Education, in order to provide such educational experiences to even more students.

In addition to tutoring services, Jarrell Education specializes in SAT, ACT, and AP Test Prep Courses and Test Simulations. Our prep classes include online assessments twice a week, video vignettes, rigorous test preparation concepts and strategies, and limited class size. Test Prep classes address the gap between what students are learning in high school and what is tested on the SAT and ACT. It’s about practicing, understanding the test, and creating confidence before test day.
